What is an MCP server for B2B data?
An MCP server lets AI assistants and agents call data tools directly through the Model Context Protocol. The CompanyEnrich MCP server gives your agent live company and people data without writing any integration code.
Which AI clients work with the CompanyEnrich MCP server?
Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, Raycast, and any other MCP-compatible client or agent framework. See the MCP docs for setup.
What tools does the MCP server include?
Five tools: Enrich Company, Search Companies, Find Similar Companies, People Search, and Reverse Email Lookup.
Should I use MCP or the REST API?
MCP is the fastest way to give an assistant or agent access to our data. The REST API gives you full control when you build your own agent tools. Both use the same data and credits.

Give it a data tool. When your agent calls enrichment or search, it answers from real company and people records instead of what the model remembers.
Can agents search companies in plain language?
Yes. The Company Search API takes a semanticQuery like "AI tools for hospitals", and you can add filters like country and size.
Do I need a separate API key for MCP?
No. Your existing CompanyEnrich API key works with the MCP server.
